Antiques Repurposed: Wine Cabinet Bounty

My dad is an artist and I have always been exceptionally proud of the beautiful things he creates.  From amazing watercolors of landscapes and barns to birdhouses to the lovely home I grew up in, he has an eye for detail and the unique ideas to match.  He has managed to save many of my special trinkets over the years, delicately piecing together broken glass dolls or re-purposing some small piece of metal into a new clasp for a precious piece of jewelry.  I still believe that he can fix anything.

His latest mission is transforming antiques–Victrolas, dressers, headboards–into wine cabinets.

Check out these lovelies:

And the piece from my personal collection which I L-O-V-E love:

Just for fun, I thought I’d include some “before” pictures of my dad’s current projects:

Just wait until you see these old girls transformed!  I promise I’ll share.

If you’re interested in purchasing any of these pieces (the PERFECT gift for the wine lovers on your list!), you can call Dale at 509.833.2532 or email him at dalerpeterson@gmail.com.  He would also be happy to refinish your own antiques to your specifications.
