Recently, Stacie and I spent a day getting creative and covering ourselves in glitter and glue. Some of the results are below, including the cocktail we rewarded ourselves with in the (late . . . mid?) afternoon.
Some ideas for our Thanksgiving tables in gold, bronze and orange hues:
- Glitter pumpkin candles (learn how to make them)
- Soft gold tablecloth
- Part of an old Champagne crate–used as a trivet
- Antique candle holders
- Clear glass vases with fall foliage
- You’ll have to use your imagination for the food: I’m dreaming of a giant turkey, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce & pumpkin pie
- Treveri sparkling wine (see cranberry lime cocktail below)
Stacie and I have written about Treveri many times, not only because they make festive sparkling wines, but because they are constantly creating wonderful experiences. Whether you visit their tasting rooms for events or just to sample the selection, each visit is an occasion. And that makes Treveri’s wines perfect for November’s special day.
Stacie and I decided to play around with our sparkling wine and found an easy recipe for a fresh, zesty cocktail.
